Karel Soucek was born in 1915 in Krocehlavy near Kladno. He died in 1982 in Kladno. He was a student at the School of Applied Arts and the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He painted motifs from a tour of European capitals. The Quijot cycle was also significant. Oil on cardboard. Size - 47.5 x 37.5 cm (35 x 25)
